THE PREDICTION

North Queensland Cowboys’ weakened side were unable to make it five successive victories as they were defeated by top four rivals Cronulla Sharks last week but they will be confident of making an immediate return to winning ways as they host bottom of the ladder Wests Tigers. The away side are on a miserable run of form having lost their last six, their most recent defeat coming against Penrith Panthers last week. Wests were close to causing an upset in that contest but have now won just one of their last ten and with a huge gulf in class between these two, the Cowboys can run riot to cover the -17.5 handicap.
