THE PREDICTION

This should be a tasty contest between two teams that are firmly in the mix to finish in the top four and could well be the game of the round. Cronulla Sharks host an improving South Sydney Rabbitohs outfit in a contest that could quite conceivably go either way. A draw should also not be ruled out with both teams looking well-matched, although the Rabbitohs will perhaps be the more confident of the two having won their last four. They dispatched Melbourne Storm last week while the Sharks put up a good fight against runaway leaders and reigning premiers Penrith Panthers but ultimately fell short. That ended their five-game winning streak but they will believe they can bounce back here, despite facing another tricky opponent. This is very tough to call but in what could be a tense affair, it is worth backing the winning margin to be 1-12 points either way.
