Ever since the appointment of Franck Haise, Rennes have been very impressive in the last couple of months. The home team come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering of Strasbourg last weekend, courtesy of goals scored by Esteban Lepaul, Breel Embolo and Mousa Al Tamari.
Nantes begin the match day sitting firmly in the bottom two and the automatic relegation places in Ligue 1. The Canaries most recently succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to defending champions and league leaders Paris Saint-Germain the other day with Desire Doue scoring in between a Khvicha Kvaratskhelia brace.
Nantes are destined for Ligue 2 having circled the drain for a while and Rennes are firm favourites for this one, especially with their home advantage.
