Real Sociedad vs Lyon prediction

Real Sociedad started the season slowly but have begun to find some impressive form under Pellegrino Matarazzo. La Real did have their six-match unbeaten run of form across all competitions ended by arch-rivals Athletic Club at the weekend, losing by two goals to one in La Liga at the Reale Arena.

Lyon, at the time of writing, are set to lose manager Paulo Fonseca with the Portuguese coach set to depart for Sporting CP. Fonseca oversaw a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Angers in Ligue 1 at the weekend as they sit third in the table domestically after failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League due to a defeat to Fenerbahce in August.

In this competition, Lyon had won two from two before a 3-0 loss to Hoffenheim and that defeat may be backed up by another as La Real seek to get back against managerless opposition.

Real Sociedad vs Lyon tip: Double chance – Real Sociedad to win or draw
