Real Betis vs Braga prediction

In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie, Real Betis and Braga shared a 1-1 draw in northern Portugal with Austria international defensive midfielder opening the scoring for Braga after five minutes before Cucho equalised with a second-half penalty.

Real Betis have been in indifferent form of late with the pressure growing on Manuel Pellegrini, despite the fact Los Verdiblancos have done extremely well under his management, reaching the final of last season’s UEFA Europa Conference League while also looking set to earn UEFA Champions League qualification this season. Braga, as ever, sit comfortably fourth in Liga Portugal with no chance of a top three finish and well clear of fifth.

Braga will be difficult to beat for Betis but, with their home advantage and having apparently cracked something in Europe, the Andalusians have to be viewed as slight favourites.
