RB Leipzig vs St. Pauli prediction

Unfortunately for a St. Pauli side fighting for their Bundesliga lives, they are travelling to an opponent who still has plenty to play for despite Bayern Munich already having secured the Meisterschale. Third-placed RB Leipzig are still yet to guarantee their spot in next season’s Champions League and three points here would bring them one step closer to achieving that aim.

St. Pauli are currently ravaged by injuries, which is no doubt playing a big role as to why they’ve not won now in the Bundesliga since February 28, a run of eight games which has seen them pick up just three points. That’s why they now find themselves into the bottom two and in real trouble of automatic relegation back to 2. Bundesliga.

Whilst RB Leipzig are by far the stronger squad on paper, you can never underestimate a side fighting for their lives to stay in the division. But that superior class and ability, not to mention is confidence is expected to see Leipzig overwhelm the visitors and gain the three points.
