QPR vs Preston prediction

Over the summer, Queens Park Rangers finally parted company with Marti Cifuentes after placing him on gardening leave for a while. The Spaniard has been replaced by former Stade Rennais boss Julian Stephan, and they have made some intriguing signings, most notably the arrival of Kwame Poku from Peterborough United.

They face a Preston North End that collapsed towards the end of last season and only just narrowly avoided the drop on the final day of the campaign. The Lancastrians will once again be expected to struggle in the second-tier this season, under the management of former Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom.

These two sides would generally be viewed as relatively evenly matched, but this could be a perfect chance for QPR to send out a statement of intent at Loftus Road.

QPR vs Preston tip: QPR to win -1 handicap
