Tournament hosts Poland could not have asked for a better start to this World Cup, as they dispatched of Argentina by three goals to nil. After going 'bang-bang’ in the first half with two goals inside five minutes, they then sealed the win in second half stoppage time. Their next test comes in the form of Mexico, who led by two goals against Benin, but threw it away late on, ultimately settling for a point.
What Mexico can take heart from is their attacking potency, they looked strong going forward and should provide the Polish backline with a serious test. But Poland should be afforded success themselves from an attacking perspective, so back over 2.5 goals to be scored.
