Paraguay vs Nicaragua prediction

Paraguay were impressive in CONMEBOL qualification for FIFA World Cup 2026, losing just two of their final 13 games of the campaign after the appointment of Gustavo Alfaro. The Paraguayans most recently succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Morocco in March.

They now face a Nicaragua side that, under the management of Juan Cruz Real, come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with South Africa last week. They have only won one, against Honduras, in their last nine matches.

Nicaragua are a poor side and don’t even really have much stubbornness about them and so a comfortable Paraguay victory is to be expected at Estadio Defonsores del Chaco in Asuncion.
