Pakistan vs Sri Lanka prediction

At 154/9 chasing 242 to win, Pakistan appeared to be down and out against England on Sunday. Shadab Khan had other ideas, however, and, supported by number 11 Haris Rauf, he proceeded to play arguably the best innings of his career, scoring 113 not out in an unbroken partnership of 89 with Rauf, guiding Pakistan to a stunning one-wicket victory.

It’s been a long time since Pakistan have played with such a never-say-die attitude, and that is a testament to their white-ball head coach Mike Hesson, who continues to work his magic. Their next challenge comes in the form of a rematch with Sri Lanka, whom Pakistan beat by 37 runs in Rawalpindi back on October 18th.

While Sri Lanka are boosted by a recent rare ODI triumph, also against England, a red-hot Pakistan on their own patch is likely to prove a bridge too far, so back the hosts to come out on top.
