Notts County vs Salford prediction

After a playoff semi-final loss to AFC Wimbledon last season, Notts County have been very impressive once again this season, under the management of Martin Paterson. The Magpies overcame Chesterfield in the playoffs in a dramatic encounter, with the midlanders frustrated by a draw on the final day, with a win enough to go up automatically.

Salford City, on the other hand, were involved in a very close contest against Grimsby Town with Karl Robinson’s Ammies winning the first-leg at Blundell Park before then being taken to extra-time in Prestwich against the Marines. Salford have suffered just two defeats in their last 14 matches.

These are two entertaining teams at their best but nerves took over both on the final day, as well as in the playoffs, and so a low-scoring encounter seems a decent bet for this one in north London.

Notts County vs Salford tip: Under 2.5 goals
