Notts County are halfway to booking their Wembley accommodation after a fantastically disciplined showing on the road saw them edge out Chesterfield by a goal to nil, Jayden Luker’s first half goal proving enough for the Magpies in a cagey encounter. Boss Paul Cook was dealt a further blow by an injury to attacker Armando Dobra, who is doubtful for this second leg.
It will be a fervent crowd in Nottingham hoping to roar their side home, although they’ll be taking on a Chesterfield side who must go all-out to try and put pressure on the hosts defensively as they trail by a goal. Even if Dobra doesn’t make it, the visitors boast plenty of proven attacking options that Cook will no doubt utilise. With that in mind, we could be in for an entirely different game compared to the first leg, where backing over 2.5 goals may wind up a shrewd move.
