The prediction

North Melbourne recorded just their second win of the season when they accounted for the Richmond Tigers by four points in Round 10, 78-74.They still languish in 17th place on the ladder despite the win. Their recent efforts against Port (9 point loss), Essendon (3 point loss) and the Lions (draw) has shown they are playing with passion and commitment but can it turn into a sustained period of Football that puts wins on the board. This is the next step for Alastair Clarkson’s squad and the challenge presented this week by the Collingwood Magpies gets no greater.

Collingwood repelled the challenge of the Adelaide Crows 78-68 to move top of the ladder after the Lions surprise loss. They have eight wins from their ten matches as we approach the mid-point of the season and look to be firming in Premiership markets.

The Magpies have won five straight contests in the overall series and we think they can make it six with a comfortable margin on Saturday.
