The star-studded Nigerians enjoyed a much-improved set of performances at CAF Africa Cup of Nations as they finished third in Morocco before continuing their improvement with a win against Iran and a draw with Jordan – two sides that have qualified for this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
Zimbabwe come into this one on the back of a group stage exit at the aforementioned AFCON, in what was an admittedly tough group alongside Egypt, Angola and South Africa. They have won just one of their last 13 official matches.
The Zimbabweans were tough opposition for the underperforming Super Eagles in CAF qualification for FIFA World Cup 2026 but Nigeria are on a better track now and should win here at the home of Charlton Athletic.
