New Zealand vs India prediction

The return of Virat Kohli to the India squad has clearly had a hugely positive effect on the players. Kohli was back at his brilliant best to give India a series lead, top-scoring with 74 not out, batting at three, in a successful DLS run chase against New Zealand. While Rohit Sharma failed to score, you'd expect a player of his experience to turn that around relatively quickly, possibly here in Wellington.

New Zealand, meanwhile, struggled with the bat in game one, with Tim Seifert top-scoring with only 38. In the end, only five players reached double figures, with two of those being the numbers 10 and 11 on the Black Caps' card. India's batting looked significantly stronger, and having jumped out into an early two-game lead during the T20i series, it's well worth backing them to do the same here in the 50-over format.
