Morocco vs Mali prediction

Morocco were one of four teams to reach the round of 16 after winning a penalty shootout and their triumph was one of the most eye-catching. They defeated the heavily fancied USA, who had come into the knockout stage boasting a 100% record across the group stage, capitalising on the USA’s lack of potency up top and holding them to a 1-1 draw which led to the shootout.

Mali’s offensive cutting edge proved pivotal to them getting the better of Zambia by three goals to one and such efficiency gives them a big chance of earning a quarter-final berth. Three of Mali’s four games played so far have seen over 2.5 goals scored and the same outcome warrants serious consideration here.

Morocco vs Mali tip: Over 2.5 goals
