Metz vs Toulouse prediction
Metz were always expected to be battling against going straight down and that is the case for the hosts. They sit six points adrift of third-from-bottom in the relegation playoff place and 11 behind outright safety. They most recently succumbed to a 3-0 loss against title challenging Lens at Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
They now face a Toulouse side that, under the management of Carlos Martinez Novell, recently defeated Olympique de Marseille into the semi-finals of the Coupe de France but that is a distraction against Ligue 1 as they slide into the bottom-half of the table with an underwhelming few months.
Toulouse have little reason to focus on Ligue 1 with little to play for but even an unmotivated visiting side will be expected to get past Metz this weekend.
