In order to survive, Real Mallorca need a sequence of events that is too difficult and too complicated to try and explain here. However, all they need to know for themselves is that they have to win and they could do with winning it quite comfortably in order to stand a chance.

It has been a difficult season for Real Oviedo throughout, following their long-awaited return to the top-flight. The Asturians have shown some fight in the last couple of months but they do now come into this one on the back of collecting just one point from their last six games – scoring just twice in that run.

Winning it comfortably for the hosts would require a poor side travelling to Palma de Mallorca and that, at least, is the case as Oviedo get set for their final Liga game.
