Lyon vs Crystal Palace prediction

Paulo Fonseca and his Lyon side missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification due to a play-off round defeat to Fenerbahce. They have remained generally strong, though, beating Anderlecht in their UEFA Europa League last month but they were beaten 2-1 by Lens at Stade Bollaert-Delelis at the weekend.

Crystal Palace, with former Lyon boss Pierre Sage at the helm after Oliver Glasner departed having won the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, earned a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend to ensure that they have now four and drawn one of their last six matches across all competitions.

Palace have improved in terms of their results after a slow start to the season but their performances have remained fairly unconvincing and siding with Lyon would be the way to go for this one on Thursday.

Lyon vs Crystal Palace tip: Double chance – Lyon to win or draw
