Hearts vs Nordsjaelland prediction

Having missed out on the Scottish Premiership title on the final day of last season, Hearts were then eliminated from both the UEFA Champions League and then the UEFA Europa League before managing to squeeze past Rapid Vienna on penalties in the play-off round of this competition.

Nordsjaelland were held to a goalless draw by Odense in the Danish Superliga at the weekend as they sit fourth in the table. The Danes lost their away leg to GAIS in the second qualifying round but won 6-0 at home. They were then more unconvincing albeit winners in their away leg against Valur Reykjavik in the next round before again being less than convincing in a dramatic defeat of St Gallen away from home in the third qualifying round.

Those performances on the road in Europe from Nordsjaelland will give Hearts confidence here and the Scots may well be a good value bet to be sided with at Tynecastle.

Hearts vs Nordsjaelland tip: Double chance – Hearts to win or draw
