Lithuania vs Netherlands prediction

Lithuania come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Malta in Vilnius the other day. Alexander Satariano opened the scoring for the Maltese in the 83rd minute, before Jake Azzopardi was then sent off for them in the 91st minute. Lithuania then equalised via a late Gvidas Gineitis penalty, before Edgaras Utkus was sent off in the 99th minute.

They now face a Netherlands side that, coached by Ronald Koeman, have put in some excellent performances and results in recent years, and the Oranje’s squad does appear to be getting better. However, they were pegged back to a 1-1 draw by Poland in Rotterdam the other day, due to a late Matty Cash equaliser for the Poles.

Lithuania have a team that are arguably getting worse at the moment, and the Netherlands will be expected to run up a bit of a score in the Lithuanian capital city.

Lithuania vs Netherlands tip: Netherlands to win -2 handicap
