Leo Borg vs Toby Samuel prediction

Leo Borg was handed a wild card to compete at the Stockholm Open. He is the son of 11-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one Bjorn. The 23-year-old recorded his second ATP Tour win at this event last year, after defeating Sebastian Ofner in the first-round.

His round one opponent on this occasion is Toby Samuel. The Briton advanced to his first tour-level semi-final at the Eastbourne Open during the grass court season, which ended with a defeat to eventual champion Zizou Bergs. Samuel has also won three Challenger Tour titles in 2026, while he has also broken inside the top 100 of the world rankings. The 24-year-old won a singles match for Great Britain at the Davis Cup after beating Andres Andrade in September.

Borg will have plenty of home support on his side and has already demonstrated how competitive he can be against higher-ranked opposition at this event, but Samuel will be viewed as the favourite to come out on top.
