Marta Kostyuk will make her WTA Finals bow after replacing defending champion Elena Rybakina in the draw.

The world number one withdrew on the eve of the tournament, paving the way for Ukrainian alternate, Kostyuk to come in and face another debutant in the shape of Linda Noskova.

This will be their fourth meeting with the previous three all coming earlier this year.
