On the back of European progression this past Thursday, Man Utd will be expected to extend their recent unbeaten streak in the Premier League against out-of-form Leicester.

Kick-off date/time: Sunday March 16th 2025: UK – 7:00pm / US ET – 3:00pm / US PT – 12:00pm

How to watch on TV: UK – Not Televised / US – NBC

How to watch online: UK – Not Streamed / US – Peacock and Telemundo

Leicester Preview: Six straight defeats

Leicester are on the way back to the Championship in a hurry unless they can find a way to quickly end a run of six successive losses in all competitions which has left them cut adrift in the bottom three. It’s been a terrible period for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side and the former Man Utd striker will desperately be hoping his players can take something from the club he served so well as a player.

But that would involve them needing to shore up defensively and find goals at the other end of the pitch. Not to mention arresting a terrible run at home, which is leading to understandable anger within the stands.

Man Utd Preview: Brilliant Bruno

Man Utd’s inspiration captain continues to lead by example. Less than a week after scoring the opening goal in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal, Bruno Fernandes then returned to Old Trafford and netted a brilliant hat-trick as United defeated ten-man Real Sociedad to go through to the next round of the Europa League.

This team isn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination but with a player of Bruno’s quality leading the way, they always stand a chance. The Portuguese star is driving his side on from midfield and this recent run of goals is proving hugely valuable on multiple fronts.

Leicester Team News: Fatawu only missing player

Leicester are only without Fatawu as it stands leading into this contest, although he is a massive miss as is being proven with every fixture that passes by. Expect a back three that offers goalkeeper Hermansen as much protection as possible.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Hermansen; Faes, Coady, Thomas; Justin, Ndidi, Winks, Kristiansen; Mavididi, Vardy, El Khannouss

Unavailable: Fatawu (Injured)

Questionable:

Man Utd Team News: Knocking on Heaven’s door

A defensive injury crisis could see youngster Ayden Heaven given a Premier League start in a back three after he replaced Leny Yoro against Arsenal. Several players are out for the Red Devils, although Harry Maguire could yet return.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Onana; De Ligt, Lindelof, Heaven; Mazraoui, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dalot; Garnacho, Zirkzee, Eriksen

Unavailable: Amad (Injured), Bayindir (Injured), Dorgu (Injured), Evans (Injured), Lisandro (Injured), Mainoo (Injured), Shaw (Injured), Yoro (Injured)

Questionable: Maguire (Injured), Mount (Fitness)

Leicester vs Man Utd Prediction

Leicester must be sick to death of facing Man Utd at this point. They’ve already met the Red Devils three times this season, once in the league and also in both domestic cup competitions, losing on all three occasions. Not only that, the Foxes shipped ten goals over the course of those three fixtures, which hardly bodes well for them here.

If Man Utd get the first goal, then Leicester could well implode when considering the toxicity surrounding them at the moment, especially at King Power Stadium where fans have directly their ire towards those running the club. Defensively, the hosts have been atrocious and confidence must be at rock bottom among the squad. Back Man Utd to extend their misery to winning this one.

Leicester vs Man Utd Tip: Man Utd to win
