Legia Warsaw were stunned by a first-half blitz against Molde in Norway last week but they have given themselves a chance of getting through the Round of 16 thanks to a second-half fightback.

Legia Warsaw vs Molde Prediction

In Norway last week, Molde raced into a 3-0 lead in the first-half thanks to goals from Erik Hestad, Kristian Eriksen and Fredrik Gulbrandsen before Legia Warsaw fought back to 3-2 in the second-half via strikes from Kacper Chodyna and Luquinhas.

Legia Warsaw have since shared a 3-3 draw with Motor Lublin in the Polish Ekstraklasa at the weekend. The capital city club are entertaining to watch and their last five matches across all competitions have consisted of 23 goals, including that 3-2 loss to Molde in the first-leg last week.

Molde have been underwhelming throughout the last 12 months after a disappointing 2024 Eliteserien season, average UEFA Europa Conference League league phase campaign and then needing penalties to overcome League of Ireland side Shamrock Rovers in the knockout playoffs but they do have the surprise advantage.

That surprise advantage, though, remains expected to be wiped out with relative ease by Legia Warsaw, although it could once again be a good watch for the neutral for this second-leg.

Legia Warsaw vs Molde Tip: Legia Warsaw to win & over 2.5 goals
