Leeds vs Preston prediction

Leeds United had endured a difficult run of form of late with too many draws but Daniel Farke’s side have been the best side in the Championship this season and have returned to the top-of-the-table, sitting above Burnley on goal difference and leapfrogging a Sheffield United side who have now suffered back-to-back defeats ahead of this weekend.

Preston North End had their season more or less ended by a 3-0 loss to Aston Villa in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup a few weeks ago and Paul Heckingbottom’s Lancastrians have remained steady enough to sit firmly in mid-table in the Championship after a 2-2 draw with Cardiff City in their most recent outing at Deepdale in midweek.

Leeds have scored 80 and conceded just 28 this season. They have lost just four games and if they don’t go up then it will be a massive quirk. A home win and some calmness is needed and expected.
