Le Havre preview: Perennial strugglers
Former Middlesbrough midfielder Didier Digard is in charge of a Le Havre side that have managed to narrowly avoid relegation from the top-flight in each of the last three seasons and another relegation battle is to be expected this season.
The home team began their campaign with a slender 1-0 defeat at home to Monaco before they then earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Olympique Lyonnais, conceding a late Lois Openda equaliser in that game.
Brest preview: Staying steady
Over the summer, Stade Brest boss Eric Roy passed away after battling with cancer for a while. He has been replaced in the dugout by assistant coach Julien Laucher, who has started this season steadily.
Brest began the campaign with an entertaining 2-2 draw against newly-promoted Le Mans before sharing the same scoreline with Toulouse last weekend in a game in which they came from behind twice, the second of which being in second half stoppage-time.

Key midfielder Abdoulaye Toure suffered a knee injury in the week and so he is a doubt for this one, while Stephan Zagadou and Felix Mambimbi are confirmed absentees.

Le Havre are a largely limited side that have perhaps punched above their weight due to the coaching credentials of Digard. They will again be expected to struggle once more this season. Brest have plenty of impressive attacking options and they will fancy themselves to punish an often awkward Le Havre side and siding with the visitors to at least avoid defeat would appear a decent bet.
