For the second time in the space of just five days, Lazio and Inter Milan face off. On this occasion though, the stakes are far higher with a major trophy at stake. Having said that, it’s hard to ignore how comprehensively Inter disposed of their opponents this past weekend despite potentially nursing a hangover after being crowned Serie A champions.
Lazio were reduced to ten men in that one following a red card to Alessio Romagnoli after 59 minutes with the score at 0-2 to Inter. Expect significantly more discipline to be shown by Lazio this time around. But they are dealing with an outstanding side in Inter who are proving the gold standard this season in Italian football.
