Over the summer, Lazio supporters appeared to finally reach the end of their tether with the presidency of Claudio Lotito and unrest has been apparent off the pitch but, on it, Gennaro Gattuso’s Laziale have started with three wins from three.
The Romans edged past Bologna by a goal to nil on the opening day before edging past Genoa, both with winners scored by Davide Frattesi. Frattesi then got their equaliser against Udinese before a late Albert Gudmundsson winner in Friuli last weekend.
AC Milan preview: Steady for Amorim
AC Milan missed out on the top four and UEFA Champions League qualification last season and opted to replace Massimiliano Allegri with former Manchester United and Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim.
Amorim’s Rossoneri have started well. They began with victories against Torino and then Venezia before a 1-1 draw with Juventus in Turin last week in a game in which they conceded a second half stoppage-time equaliser via Federico Gatti.
