Under the management of Vincenzo Italiano, Besiktas are expected to re-establish themselves as a force in UEFA competition this season. Kauno Zalgiris made it through the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League before then also getting through the second qualifying round before losing to Dinamo Zagreb.
Besiktas hammered Kauno by three goals to nil in the first-leg in their UEFA Europa League play-off round tie last week, courtesy of strikes scored by Oh Hyeon-gyu, Michael Amir Murillo and Orkan Kokcu.
Besiktas head to Lithuania in excellent form throughout this summer and they will be expected to ease themselves to a second-leg victory once again.
