Juventus preview: Strong start
In his first full season after narrowly missing out on the top four and UEFA Champions League qualification last year, Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus have started the campaign well with back-to-back victories thus far.
The Bianconeri edged past newly-promoted Frosinone by a goal to nil in Rome before they then eased past Parma by two goals to nil in Turin last week, courtesy of goals scored by Nicolas Gonzalez and Teun Koopmeiners.
AC Milan preview: Getting by
Following the appointment of Ruben Amorim, reports emerged of some discontent with the former Manchester United boss in pre-season but the Portuguese ideologue has instead earned a couple of wins thus far.
Having defeated Torino by two goals to one in their opener, the Rossoneri then eased to a comfortable 2-0 victory against Venezia at San Siro with a Goncalo Ramos strike before a Redouane Halhal own goal.
Juventus team news: Plenty of issues
A failed move to Atalanta leaves Juan Cabal still at Juventus but now a fresh injury absentee alongside Jeff Ekhator, Khephren Thuram and Kenan Yildiz.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Kalulu, Bremer, Jhon Lucumi, Celik; Locatelli, Douglas Luiz; Conceicao, Koopmeiners, Boga; Kolo Muani
Unavailable: Juan Cabal (Injured), Thuram (Injured), Yildiz (Injured), Ekhator (Injured)
Questionable: Cambiaso (Injured), McKennie (Injured), Zhegrova (Injured)
AC Milan team news: The Amorim system
Ruben Amorim has persisted with his preference for a 3-4-2-1 system and he is blessed with a fully fit and available squad as the Rossoneri make the trip to Turin.

Juventus vs AC Milan prediction
Juventus are attempting to play a proactive style of football under Spalletti. They haven’t been able to be absolutely fluent thus far but they have plenty of quality to do so and suggestions that they will be able to. AC Milan, though, may well benefit from that with Amorim’s preference for slick counter-attacking and so, for the first time in a while, a game between Juve and Milan may well actually be quite entertaining for the neutral.
