Hull City vs Millwall prediction

Hull City will get home advantage first against a Millwall side who finished just one point behind second-placed Ipswich Town. Alex Neil’s side ended the season strongly, not losing in their last five Championship encounters with three wins and two draws. They are defensively excellent and boast enough firepower to find the net on any given occasion.

With that in mind, the Tigers have their work cut out for them, especially when considering their recent slump. Victory on the last day of the regular season over Norwich City snapped a six-match streak without winning a game and Hull have also kept a clean sheet just once since the start of March, which doesn’t bode well against an opponent of Millwall’s quality.

In the end, class is likely to tell over 90 minutes and Millwall have already defeated Hull 1-3 at the MKM Stadium this year. You’d expect the Lions to at the very least head back down South either with an advantage or with the tie level.

Hull City vs Millwall tip: Double chance - draw/Millwall
