Huddersfield vs Exeter prediction

Huddersfield Town come into this one on the back of a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Luton Town in League One in midweek. That has extended their lead at the top-of-the-table to three points with just one defeat in 14 league games – that coming against a poor Bromley side back in September.

Exeter City, following their relegation down to League Two last season, took the lead against runaway league leaders Salford City last week before succumbing to a 2-1 loss. That ended an impressive run of form with The Grecians boasting comfortably the best defensive record in the division, conceding just nine goals in 14 league games thus far.

Exeter will believe they can therefore be stubborn opposition once again at the Kirklees Stadium but Huddersfield remain firm favourites for this FA Cup first round tie.

Huddersfield vs Exeter tip: Huddersfield to win & under 3.5 goals
