Hoffenheim vs Werder Bremen prediction

Hoffenheim are currently locked in a three-way tie which sees them, Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen all on 58 points but with only one Champions League place guaranteed for the trio. But with Stuttgart and Leverkusen against each other this weekend, Hoffenheim know that at least one if not both will drop points, opening the door for them.

With that in mind, motivation surely won’t be an issue and neither will complacency, especially against a Werder Bremen side still yet to secure their safety. Six points separates them from the bottom three, so a win here would all but seal the deal for them.

But this is really all about Hoffenheim and how clinical they can be in a must-win match. They’ve been really good offensively all-season long under Christian Ilzer and are likely to pin back Werder for large periods of this one. In the end, they should do enough to claim a huge victory.
