Harriet Dart vs Barbora Krejcikova prediction

Harriet Dart has struggled to get going on grass over the past few weeks as she has suffered early exits in Ilkley and Nottingham. She will have been disappointed by her loss in the latter event, as compatriot Francesca Jones defeated her in straight sets. She will be given a wildcard for Wimbledon next week but there has to be a rapid improvement in Dart’s game if she is equal her best ever finish at the Championships, which have been two third-round appearances.

Barbora Krejcikova may have won Wimbledon last year, but she has spent most of 2025 off the court due to injury. She’s played just one grass court event this season and lost in the first-round of Queen’s Club to Rebecca Sramkova in straight sets.

They have competed against each other once before with Krejcikova defeating Dart 6-3 6-4 in the first-round of the Birmingham Classic last year. She might be short of match practice on the surface this year but we would expect a similar result for the two-time Grand Slam winner this time around.
