With both teams located in the cluster of sides fighting for a top eight position, the four points on offer are immense 
 
The GWS Giants (7th) come off claiming a significant scalp, having defeated the Brisbane Lions 107-96 in an impressive offensive display. It was a strong bounce-back performance after a previous round loss to Port Adelaide. 
 
GWS forward Jesse Hogan was a dominant force against Brisbane, continuing his All-Australian form by kicking six crucial goals to lead his team to victory. 
 
The Gold Coast Suns (6th) are coming off a bye in Round 14. In their match prior to that they went down to Geelong 61-37, a result that halted their previous momentum. 
 
Joel Jeffrey was one of his side's best, finishing with a team-high 25 disposals and working hard around the ground. 
 
The Giants have had the better of the Suns recently, winning their last five encounters. This includes their match in Round 19 of last season, where GWS secured a 39-point victory. 
 
GWS at home with their potent forward line will be hard to stop, but the rested Suns will be eager to prove their top eight credentials.
