The prediction

The Suns made the AFL sit up and take notice of their credentials last week as they produced a stunning display to beat Geelong by 56 points. That win was even more emphatic given they eased off the gas late in the match and they will be flying with confidence coming into this encounter.

West Coast are on a hiding to nothing here and the AFL’s bottom team last year come into this match with nothing to lose.

They only managed a solitary win in 2025 and it will not take much to improve on that. They have a batch of talented youngsters but it will take time for them to get going.

It is hard to make a case for them against the talented Suns and even if the Gold Coast outfit ease off the gas once again, we expect a heavy landslide win for them.
