The prediction

The Suns’ preparations have been somewhat distracted this week amid the news that the AFL’s integrity unit will be investing the relationship between a betting company and their Team Manager.

That subject was hot on the agenda in the press conference prior to this match, much to the frustration of coach Damien Hardwick as he attempted to focus on this clash with Port Adelaide.

The Suns have made a reasonable start to the campaign and they will view this as a highly winnable fixture but they will need to be fully focused.

Port have lost three of their last four but they have been hugely competitive in all three losses and they will aim to push the Suns all the way. 

The Suns however are formidable in Darwin and have won their last nine matches there dating back to 2022. Unless the investigation overly impacts the Suns, we fully expect them to make it seven wins in ten matches here but we favour the visitors to keep it within the handicap.
