  • Mali have lost only two of their last 18 World Cup qualifying matches (W8 D8).

Ghana vs Mali Prediction

Otto Addo is blessed with a strong Ghana squad, but the Black Stars slipped up the other day as they conceded late on to be pegged back to a 1-1 draw by Chad at Stade Olympique Marechal Idriss Deby Itno the other day, with Jordan Ayew’s 17th minute opener cancelled out by an 89th minute equaliser scored by Celestin Ecua.

They now face a Mali side that come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering of Comoros, as they close the gap on the Ghanaians, to leapfrog Comoros on goal difference and sit four points behind Ghana at the top-of-the-group, with Madagascar three points behind Ghana.

This could be a really dramatic contest with Madagascar at home to Chad earlier on in the day, and it could end up bursting into an entertaining clash for the neutral.

Ghana vs Mali Tip: Both teams to score
