Switzerland have an experienced core but they do have some emerging talent coming through and perhaps the star of their latest young crop is Freiburg’s Junior Manzambi. An attacking midfielder, he was a key man for the Germans as they reached the UEFA Europa League final and also finished seventh, qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League in the Bundesliga. Manzambi has been deployed at wing-back for Yakin in the pre-tournament friendlies as the manager seeks to find a spot for the 20-year-old in the eleven.
