THE PREDICTION
Max Verstappen is going from strength to strength at the moment and was the dominant force in qualifying, with the reigning world champion a cut above the rest. With Charles Leclerc starting in 15th due to a grid penalty, this looks Verstappen’s to lose. Ferrari’s best hope would appear to be Carlos Sainz but the Spaniard hasn’t shown enough so far this year to demonstrate he can be a threat to the Red Bulls if they are on form. All eyes will be on whether veteran Fernando Alonso can back up his excellent qualifying performance given that he starts second on the grid, but Verstappen – barring any car malfunctions or lapses in concentration – should ease to victory here.
