PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Germany: Frohms; Gwinn, Hendrich, Hegering, Rauch; Oberdorf, Magull, Dabritz; Huth, Schuller, Buhl

Denmark: Christensen; Boye, Ballisager, Sevecke; Veje, Jung Pedersen, Troelsgaard, Svava; Madsen, Harder, Bruun

THE PREDICTION

Germany have gone under the radar somewhat leading into this summer European championships, but head coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg has assembled a very exciting young team are who starting to show signs of clicking ahead of their biggest challenge. Players such as Klara Buhl, Giulia Gwinn and Lena Oberdorf all have the potential to make a big splash this summer and it remains to be seen whether Denmark boast as much depth within their ranks. Although the Danes will line up with two-time UEFA Player of the Year Pernille Harder leading the line, the worry is whether their defence can back up Harder’s efforts at the opposite end of the pitch. When taking into account the offensive capability of both nations, backing both teams to score and over 2.5 goals across 90 minutes has to be favoured in this one.
