THE PREDICTION
Liverpool were faced with stubborn resistance from the Villarreal rearguard last time out but a quickfire double in the second half handed Jurgen Klopp’s men a two-goal aggregate lead heading into this second leg. With the Spanish side needing to score at least twice here, this match should play out in an altogether different manner with Unai Emery’s men forced to adopt a more attacking approach. Inevitably though, that will play into quadruple-chasing Liverpool’s hands, who are as adept as any team in the world at exploiting opponents on the the counter-attack. Expect some early pressure from the hosts but they are likely to be picked off by a ruthless Reds side, with an away win combined with over 2.5 goals looking on the cards.
