Despite a dip in form towards the end of the season, Trabzonspor managed to hold on and win the Super Lig title for the first time in over 30 years. Their pre-season has been fairly underwhelming, though. They face a Sivasspor side that come into this on the back of a defeated Sharjah by two goals to nil in their most recent friendly but, again, they have also been fairly underwhelming this summer.
