THE PREDICTION
Martin Andermatt’s Schaffhausen just about finished second in the table in the Swiss Challenge League with a 1-0 defeat at home to Aarau proving costly in their aims for automatic promotion. They did stave off Aarau in the end, though, to finish second as Aarau lost on the opening day whilst Schaffhausen came from behind late on to win away at Stade Lausanne-Ouchy. They now come up against a Luzern side that pulled off a 3-2 win away to Super League winners Zurich on the final day of the season, after being 2-0 down. Luzern remained in the bottom two but head into the playoffs on the back of a five-match unbeaten run. They will be the firm favourites to remain in the Super League and should get a win in this first-leg.
