THE LOWDOWN
OSASUNA
After finishing seventh last season and qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League, as well as reaching the final of the Copa del Rey, it was always going to be the case that Osasuna struggled to emulate that success this time around and would endure what would be generally seen as an underwhelming campaign.
The Pamplona-based club come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering at the hands of struggling Granada in their most recent outing, last weekend, with goals coming from Facundo Pellistri, Myrto Uzuni and Lucas Boye. That hammering means they have now suffered five defeats in their last six matches.
REAL BETIS
Under the management of former Manchester City, Real Madrid, West Ham United and Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini, Real Betis have managed to really steady themselves on the pitch, despite financial difficulties off it and a major dip in form earlier this year which had heaped the pressure on the Chilean.
The Andalusians shared a 1-1 draw in El Gran Derbi against Sevilla last weekend at the Benito Villamarin with Isco’s first-half penalty being cancelled out by Kike Salas in the second-half. Betis had enjoyed back-to-back victories before that derby day draw as they defeated both Valencia and Celta Vigo.

THE PREDICTION
There is very little to play for for Osasuna as they look to close out what has been an underwhelming season with as little fuss or drama as possible. Jago Arrasate is not under pressure but could do with finishing the season with a bit of a flourish. Real Betis will go to Pamplona in decent form and they have a real array of attacking talent. A double chance in favour of Betis looks the way to go for this one at El Sadar.
TIP: DOUBLE CHANCE – REAL BETIS TO WIN OR DRAW
