THE PREDICTION
The home team come into this on the back of a goalless draw away to Gil Vicente in their most recent outing, last weekend. Chaves have suffered just one loss in their last four Primeira Liga matches as they begin this weekend's round of fixtures sitting in mid-table. They now face a Benfica side that, under the management of Roger Schmidt, have been exceptional throughout the campaign but are beginning to wobble. Their O Classico defeat to Porto last weekend has closed the gap, but not by much, at the top-of-the-table, and that was followed up by a 2-0 loss at home to Inter Milan in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie. Despite those defeats, though, Benfica should win this one.
