THE PREDICTION
It is a testament to Rennes’ excellent start to the campaign that their 2-2 draw with Troyes last weekend was seen as a disappointing result but they remain one of the form teams in the division. They returned to winning ways in the Europa Conference League on Thursday which means they are now unbeaten in their last nine competitive games. Not only that, but if they were to avoid defeat here, it would signal their longest unbeaten run in all competitions since 2007. It’s possible they could come unstuck against Lyon though, who have lost just once in their last nine games and are scoring plenty of goals at the moment.
