THE LOWDOWN

WOLVES

  • Wolves fell to a third successive Premier League this past weekend, going down 0-2 to Crystal Palace at Molineux in what was a desperately disappointing performance from Bruno Lage’s side.
  • The hosts are facing an injury problem at right-wing-back with both Nelson Semedo and Ki-Jana Hoever expected to be ruled out, which may lead to a first start for Jonny following his long-term layoff.

WATFORD

  • Watford put up a good fight against Arsenal on Sunday, but it proved to be in vain as the Hornets were beaten 2-3 despite a late rally, leaving them still three points adrift of safety.
  • A hamstring strain for Jeremy Ngakia will see him miss this one, whilst winger Ismaila Sarr is also unlikely to feature, ditto Joshua King.

THE TEAM NEWS

WOLVES

PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Sa; Kilman, Coady, Saiss; Jonny, Neves, Moutinho, Ait Nouri; Podence, Hwang; Raul Jimenez

UNAVAILABLE: Semedo (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Hoever (Injured)

WATFORD

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Foster; Kiko, Cathcart, Samir, Kamara; Sissoko, Louza, Cleverley; Cucho, Dennis, Joao Pedro

UNAVAILABLE: Ngakia (Injured), Nkoulou (Injured), Sarr (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: King (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Watford could take positives out of their defeat against Arsenal, but their need to pick up points is becoming desperate and against a Wolves side out of form, this presents a big opportunity for the visitors. Roy Hodgson is a manager known usually for setting his teams up strongly from a defensive perspective, but the Hornets are expected to deploy a more attacking style of play here in a bid for three points. Whilst this could see them garner success in front of goal, it may also present Wolves with opportunities to capitalise on any extra space inside the opposition half and create chances of their own. With that in mind, back both teams to score, regardless of who emerges victorious.

Tip: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
