THE LOWDOWN
LIVERPOOL
Tottenham fans were facing the possibility of another round of refunds after a disastrous start on the road against Liverpool. The Reds took a commanding 3-0 lead within the first 15 minutes through Curtis Jones, Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah. However, Tottenham mounted a spectacular comeback, with Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, and Richarlison leveling the score. Lucas Moura then laid the ball on a plate for Diogo Jota to score a last-gasp winner for Liverpool, cancelling out all of Tottenham's hard work.
More officiating controversy arose as Jurgen Klopp accused referee Paul Tierney of bias against his team, who have now won four in a row and moved up to fifth in the Premier League table. However, Klopp remained pessimistic about Liverpool's chances of Champions League qualification.
On the bright side, Liverpool have scored at least twice in each of their last five matches, accumulating 17 goals in their last 450 minutes of top-flight football. Moreover, they have an unbeaten run of nine matches at Anfield before hosting a dejected Fulham.
FULHAM
Carlos Vinicius, a former Tottenham player, scored a half-volley to draw Fulham level against Manchester City. The champions had taken the lead through Erling Haaland's 50th goal of the season from the spot, but Julian Alvarez scored a wonderful second for City, and they escaped two penalty shouts to secure a nervy victory.
The Fulham supporters had reason to be proud of their team's performance, but two consecutive losses have dealt a blow to their hopes of European qualification, with the team sitting in tenth place, five points ahead of Crystal Palace, and five points behind Brentford, both of whom have played an additional game.
Other than two wins against Everton and Leeds, Silva's team has lost seven of their last nine games in all competitions and have not kept a clean sheet since February, which is not a reassuring statistic before a challenging trip to Anfield.
However, the Cottagers have managed to avoid defeat in their last three matches against Liverpool in all competitions, including a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage in August, and a 1-0 win at Anfield last season. It has been 56 years since Fulham last went unbeaten in four matches against Liverpool.

THE PREDICTION
Liverpool’s chances of finishing in the top four look admittedly bleak but they certainly appear to be finishing the season with a flourish with four straight wins carrying them to fifth place. The manner of their dramatic victory over Spurs last time out was fairly typical of their season, and there remain huge question marks hanging over their defensive resolve. With their firepower up front though, they remain a danger to any team and this could be another high-scoring game, with the hosts tipped to edge it.
TIP: LIVERPOOL TO WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS
